1. About Us

Elite Chauffeur Cars ("we", "us", "our") is a licensed commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) service operating in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. All drivers hold current Victorian CPV Driver Accreditation issued by Safe Transport Victoria.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us by email. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

It is your responsibility to provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, correct travel dates and times, and the correct number of passengers and luggage items. We are not liable for delays or additional costs arising from information provided incorrectly.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Quoted fares are based on the route information provided at the time of booking.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. A booking deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your booking, as communicated at the time of booking.

Additional charges may apply for:

• Waiting time beyond the included grace period (see clause 5)
• Route changes requested during the journey
• Tolls and parking where applicable
• Cleaning fees in the event of vehicle soiling

4. Vehicle and Driver

We reserve the right to substitute the vehicle type booked with a comparable or superior vehicle where necessary without prior notice. Specific vehicle requests are treated as preferences and are not guaranteed.

All drivers hold Victorian CPV Driver Accreditation and have passed a national criminal history check. Our vehicles are fully insured as required under Victorian law.

5. Airport and Waiting Time

For airport pickups, our driver will monitor your flight and adjust the arrival time accordingly. A complimentary waiting period of 45 minutes from the actual flight landing time is included. Waiting time beyond this is charged at the rate communicated at booking.

For all other pickups, a complimentary waiting period of 10 minutes is included from the scheduled pickup time.

Meet-and-greet service is available upon request: your driver will wait in the arrivals hall with a name board.

6. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their party during the journey. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger is behaving in a manner that is unsafe, abusive, or disruptive. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

Eating and smoking are not permitted in our vehicles. The consumption of alcohol is permitted only with prior arrangement.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care to provide our services punctually and safely. However, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, road closures, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Our liability to you is limited to the fare paid for the affected journey. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer guarantee you hold under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Child Seats

Child restraints are available upon request. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to correctly fit and secure the child restraint. Please advise us of the child's age and weight when booking.

9. Lost Property

We will make reasonable efforts to return property left in our vehicles. We are not liable for property lost or left in our vehicles. Contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have left an item.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have a service fixed if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
